Hi, I'm Dennis.
Software developer from the Münsterland region in Germany. This site is my corner of the internet — for notes, projects and whatever I'm working on right now.
Work
My focus is backend, mostly PHP with Mezzio and Laminas. Alongside that I work on Android (Kotlin and Jetpack Compose) and the frontend with React and TypeScript. Right now I'm at CHECK24 building the middleware for their hotel app.
Side projects
My main project is Lumina: a spatial canvas for personal intelligence that brings together AI agents, mobile capture flows and a Laravel/React stack. Alongside that I'm experimenting with an Android app focused on personal growth.
Away from the keyboard
I hike a lot. Currently training for the Zugspitze. I'm also interested in investing (ETFs and individual stocks) and pretty much anything related to personal development.
Where this is going
Long-term I want to move step by step toward entrepreneurship. This site is part of that — a place to think out loud and capture what I learn along the way.
